6.Kiran Mazumdar Shaw
Named among TIME magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world, Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw is a billionaire women entrepreneur in India. She is the chairperson and managing director of Biocon Limited, who started this company in 1978 with just Rs 10,000 in hand and today Biocon is India’s largest biotechnology company. The Bangalore based company manufactures generic active pharmaceutical ingredients which are sold over 120 across the globe. She is only the third Indian and second women around the world to win the EY World Entrepreneur of the Year award. She won this in 2015.
