Travelling is something most of the people love. Travelling rejuvenates one’s soul,calms the mind and in fact helps a lot of people bond. It’s said to bond with people, travel with them, help people be themselves, expose their inner self and even help one explore themselves. There are summer trips, winter fun, college trips, picnics and so much more. There are a lot of places to explore, a lifetime would be less to explore the places available  across the world. 

India is full of heritage sites, beaches, lakes,oceans, jungles, buildings and everything that can amaze oneself. India stands at a good place when it comes to tourism,it has a lot to offer. 

Exploring and visiting places becomes all the more beautiful, a one hell of an experience if you wander according to the weather. Like in winter it’s a good idea to explore places of snowfall, beaches are to be visited during summers and likewise. 

Every month there is some occasion which calls for a good trip, a festival or maybe a school vacation for the children. There is always a place to explore according to the  weather. Weather adds to the Beauty of the places and hence to enhance the traveling experience it’s important to find out what to visit when. 

January

Auli, Uttarakhand; 

Auli is one of the beautiful places to celebrate New year at. It offers a hell lot of things to the visitor. Auli is the skiing destination for India. People across the world come here to experience adventurous skiing here. Not only this Auli has other things to offer like, lush greenery, river, view of Nanda devi range. The other places to visit in Auli are Rudraprayag, Trishul Peak, Joshimath etc.

February 

Kodaikanal,Tamil Nadu 

The favourite honeymoon destinations of India, is the princess of hill stations. To celebrate your valentine’s day, it’s a good bet to go to this place and feel love. This place is full of beautiful lakes, mountains, cliffs ladened with mist giving an absolute cozy atmosphere. Every view is worth watching even for 100 times and one won’t feel like coming back from this place. Situated at an altitude of 7200 feet above sea level is the best place to be in February. 

March 

Rameshwaram,Tamil Nadu 

March is the month of spring,the clear blue skies, the good weather demands for a good vacay and hence Rameshwari is indeed a good place for a family trip. It is a constituent of char dhams of India. As the name suggests Rameshwaram is related to Lord Ram, it’s believed that Lord Rama built a bridge to Srilanka to rescue Sita, this place holds a lot of greenery, heart touching vibes and also a lot of history.

April 

Mount Abu, Rajasthan

To beat the heat, Mount Abu is the place for you to chill with your friends and experience the rich heritage of Rajasthan. Mount Abu is one of the most beautiful places present in Rajasthan. The cool weather, Nakki lake and the greenery is something that has been attracting the travellers to Mount Abu ever since ages. The temperature is very soothing here and for people willing to learn about Architecture there are temples like Dilwara Jain temple to see.

Tawanag, Arunachal Pradesh 

Tawang amidst the scorching summer is an absolute delight.  Tawang is located at the height of 10000 feet and is an extremely beautiful place. During the month of May a festival called Moatsu is celebrated, if you are keen to know more about the heritage this month is perfect for you. The festival is held for three days and is marked as celebration of the end season of the sowing period for the crops.

June 

Dalhousie, Himachal Pradesh 

Dalhousie also known as the Little Switzerland of India has to be in your list if you are a newly wed or otherwise also, it’s one of the most beautiful places across India. The weather, the snow makes it all a romantic weather for the couples. There are several mountains, rivers, valleys present in Dalhousie and hence its worth going during June to beat the summer.

Coorg, Karanatka

Southern India is full of greenery and monsoons make it all the more green and beautiful.Coorg is a best pick for a monsoon getaway, you can plan a perfect tour with your friends, colleagues or even with family. During Monsoons, Coorg is a paradise to be in. The greenery everywhere is pleasing and the whole weather is soothing.

August 

Nainital, Uttarakhand

One of the most famous cities in the state of Uttarakhand, the beautiful, picturesque city Nainital is located near the Lake Naini which is also the reason behind the name of this city, the monsoon is the best time to visit here as the weather is not too cold not its hot, the best weather, greenery is one of the reasons to definitely explore Nainital. The things to explore here are; boating, having good food, snowy points etc.

September 

Leh Ladakh

Leh is rich with landscapes, culture. There is nothing like Leh, the land of high passess is an extremely adventurous spot to be in. During the month of September Leh has good weather, the breeze combines and adds to the elegance of Leh. The other things to experience and see here are lion and yak dances, sports like archery, rafting, polo etc.

October 

Darjeeling West Bengal

Also known as the Queen of Hills, Darjeeling is an extremely pretty place to spend your October at. Darjeeling has a hell lot of things to offer to the travellers from toy trains to monasteries, national parks, valleys, soaring mountains, Observatory, colonial architecture etc. One should plan a long vacation to experience all of it as it’s worth experiencing.

November 

Bharatpur, Rajasthan

If you have an eye for wildlife,visiting Bharatpur during November and Bird watching is something you should not miss on. The several species of birds during winters  migrate from Siberia and Central Asia to here and hence the species you can watch are; Cranes, Pelicans. Wagtails, Geese, Flycatchers, Pipits. 

December 

Kutch, Gujarat 

It’s the time of the year when the famous Rann Mahotsav is being held. To give your eyes a treat you should definitely be in Kutch during December or maybe during your Christmas to new year week off. The tents, white sands, the celebration and tradition is extremely mesmerizing and would add to the charm of your whole vacay.
