Hair is believed to enhance the appearance of an individual, it adds to the beauty of a person.
As people grow older they tend to develop a deep desire to have healthy hair. Hair which shines, are healthy and are voluminous.
There is no secret to good hair, by this, it means the key to having good hair lies in your diet. The thing you eat shows on your hair.
Eating good- intake of proper and sufficient nutrients can show results in a short period of time.
1. Eggs
Needless to say, Eggs are a good source of protein, nothing can beat Eggs. Eggs provide an adequate amount of protein that our body demands, it’s a good fuel for the food. As hair follicles are made of protein, nourishing it with a sufficient amount of protein is a great deal.
Keratin, a hair Protein whose production requires Biotin, eggs also contain Biotin. The deficiency of Biotin can also be a reason for the poor health of hair. Studies suggest that a good amount of Biotin can improve depleting hair health and stop hair loss.

Spinach that leafy green vegetable, we have been told to eat ever since childhood and there is no denial that Spinach is irreplaceable, along with creating other good impacts on our health, Spinach shows visible effects on hair as well. It comprises nutrients like folate, iron, and vitamins A and C, all of these promote hair growth.
Iron which besides providing hair nourishment also has other health benefits. A lower iron level can lead to Anemia, which leads to reduced levels of haemoglobin and hence an individual with these lower levels experience fatigue.

Just like oiling hair with Almonds is highly recommended and seen promoting hair growth, eating that also shows visible effects. Nuts are a great source of vitamins like; E and B eaessent zinc and good fatty acids all of which create a good and an impact full of growth.

Beans are a great source of protein, necessary for the growth of hair. Beans are good zinc source that promotes hair growth and also aids in the repair.
6. Soybeans
Soybean contains 36-56% of Protein. Soybeans constituents promote hair growth, soybean which has spermidine in a great quantity plays a crucial role in hair growth.
7. Meat
So many studies prove that Meat a staple food promotes hair growth. It helps in strengthening and repairment of hair follicles. Especially Red Meat provides oxygen to all the red blood cells including hair follicles.
Intake of meat for those who can is a good option as lack of iron and protein leads to hair loss, maintaining these adequate levels would help to reduce hair loss.
8. Oysters

However, taking too much zinc can also lead to hair loss so it’s suggested to make Oyster a source of Zinc in our meals as taking supplements can backfire.

If you follow a vegetarian diet then Chia seed is a good alternative for you. A complete package of protein, Chia seeds carry 20% more protein than soybeans. It also has an exceptional index of Omega-3 Fatty acids.
