Are you going to switch from Android to iPhone?  This is what you lose and win!! The battle between all manufacturers and Apple is the battle of Android and iOS. Over the past few years, the mobile operating systems that tried to cope with these two giants have been falling by the wayside. An Android mobile and an iPhone have the same objective for the user, but they are very different in their conception and way of operating. So what happens when an Android user decides to buy an iPhone? IPhone users are swashbuckling iOS and iPhone features. Those who have an Android terminal are no less, and they have their arguments prepared when someone brings out their new iPhone. However, there are several “clear” advantages and disadvantages when we have been with an Android mobile for some time and want to switch to iPhone, especially if we have never had one.   Disadvantages when going from Android to iPhone
  1. You will lose in design
This aspect may be somewhat subjective, but it is true that the competition that exists in Android makes manufacturers put the batteries. In the design section, we see options for all-screen designs, banished notches, pop-up cameras, holes in the screen. The frames are more rushed than ever in Android phones and at the level of design, or sense of advance, they are one step ahead of iPhone.
  1. Less customizable
Android is based on the Linux kernel, and has an open source DNA that makes it highly customizable. If you like to modify your phone to the core, you will find more problems on iPhone. iOS is a more closed operating system and it costs much more to “sink your teeth”. The network is flooded with ROMs, third-party apps and other software created to modify the original parameters. On iPhone it is more difficult to reach this level.
  1. Leading technologies
Apple walks much more cautiously than Android. Once again, competition in Google’s operating system has manufacturers jumping into the pool with technologies that can sometimes come to nothing. However, many of them are here to stay. Android mobiles offer mobiles with more cameras, more megapixels, more battery, flexible technology. Many of these technologies have yet to reach the iPhone.
  1. Less variety
If you are going to buy an iPhone, you will buy Apple iPhones, period. By this we mean that the variety of models and prices is subject to those from Cupertino sell. The Android ecosystem is so vast that the variety of prices and models is almost unlimited. You can buy mobile phones from 5k to more than 60-70k. Advantages of going from Android to iPhone
  1. Simplicity
IPhone users boast of the incredible simplicity of moving around an operating system created on demand and that is the same on all their mobiles. Going from one Android to another can involve changes due to the layers of the different manufacturers, but changing the iPhone means continuing to move like a fish in water. Many users who switch from Android to iPhone have that feeling that everything is easier on iOS.
  1. Goodbye to segmentation
You can have an iPhone that is 7, X or more years old, which is very likely to be updated to the latest version of the operating system. This is one of the enormous advantages over Android, where it is rare for the manufacturer to update the Android version beyond two years. It is an added value that must be given more importance to always be up to date.
  1. Less malware
Both Android and iOS have malware problems. However, Google’s system is a breeding ground for malicious software, which constantly creeps into Google Play. Android is the most widely used operating system in the world, so malicious software developers focus more on this platform. If you go to iPhone you can be calmer in this regard, but always alert.
  1. Apple Ecosystem
It is not the same to have an Android mobile from one brand, a wearable from another manufacturer, which can sometimes cause compatibility problems. Apple has managed to create over the years and an ecosystem where the iPhone, the Mac and the Apple Watch are like brothers that offer perfect synchronization. The disadvantage is that to experience it we will have, in addition to having the iPhone, to complete this kit of Apple products.
